FROM DOWNLOAD TO DRIVE
A new sky. A familiar setup.
VISTA packs are made for the original Assetto Corsa on Windows. Check your setup before subscribing.
Download your sky pack
When your sky is ready, open it from My skies and choose Download sky pack. Save the ZIP to your Windows gaming PC.
Extract the entire ZIP
Right-click the ZIP and extract all files. Keep the folder structure together; do not run an installer from inside the ZIP.
Close AC and install
Close Assetto Corsa. Open the extracted pack and follow its included instructions. If the pack contains “Install VISTA Sky.cmd”, run it and select the correct Assetto Corsa installation when prompted.
Select your sky in Pure
Start a session, open Pure Config and find Clouds → Skydomes / Sets. Select the set name listed on your sky page or in the pack. Menu labels can differ with your Pure version.
Look around
Your panorama surrounds the circuit. Turn the camera to explore it, and compare under the same time, weather and post-processing settings.
If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”
The beta installer is not code-signed. If you downloaded this pack directly from your VISTA library and trust its source, choose More info, check the filename, then Run anyway. If you are unsure, cancel and contact support. Do not disable Windows security.
Removing a sky
Close Assetto Corsa. Open the same extracted pack folder and run “Undo VISTA Sky.cmd”. Follow its prompts to remove that pack using its installation record. Keep the pack and receipt together; do not remove shared Pure files by hand.
NEED A HAND?
Keep the error message.
If a pack fails validation or your sky does not appear, send support the sky ID, error text, and your Pure and CSP versions. Don’t rename or delete existing Pure files to force an installation.
